New home brewed album!
posted by: automata posted: 06/12/07 14:38:35
In a bit of a change I decide to produce this album using my resonator guitar in all tunes. Sort of a back to basics. The Tune You Lips is a good example, this tune was recorded one take and one mic in my home bathroom... The album is entirely home produced and I do everything in there... But I finally have a full band now and we will start gigging pretty soon.

"{Automata} is a self-organized machine. Automata is all recorded by Tomas de-Camino-Beck and Tim C. Lee. All home recorded with basic gear and GarageBand. They tried to combine synth sounds and electronica with raw blues. Some of the songs sound somewhat dated and some are QUIT interesting. The level of musicianship and recording is top notch and I as a listener HIGHLY encourage this band to keep outside the box and find their true sound. It will be worth the wait and effort !" Timothy C. Lee played some spectacular drums on Robot Blues. He'll be playing some more...

I recorded using GarageBand Rhythm section jampack. However, a virtual friend is working on the drums... I'll update tunes shortly!

The rise of Automata

I belong to the new era of music. Home produced one man band. Technology has unleashed wonderful music around the virtual world. evryone can he heard by peers. It never matters if you play pro or not. What matters is the rise of self organized music.
